Carrboro Coffee Roasters president Scott Conary will travel to Buford, Georgia later this month to lecture and instruct classes at Winter Barista Camp 2015.

Barista Camp offers baristas unique opportunities to develop their skills, work towards professional certificates, explore the world of specialty coffee, and learn from and network with industry experts.

Conary will discuss his extensive experience as a Head Judge in a panel  lecture with fellow Head Judges Miguel Vicuña and Ryan Wilbur. The group will talk about the experience of being on the other side of the table during barista competitions, including rules, calibration, and what they look for in a champion. This is an incredible opportunity for those interested in competing, learning more about the process, or improving their performance.

Winter Barista Camp will take place January 26-29 at Lake Lanier Islands Resort.
