More than 500 smallholder farmer families of the Mahembe community, in the Western Province of Rwanda, bring only ruby red, fully ripe coffee cherries to the Coffee Washing Station (CWS) to be processed and sun dried. The volcanic soil & proper processing helps lead to the complex luscious stone fruits, sugar cane sweetness and lush, silky body found in this unique, award winning coffee.
