Carrboro Coffee Roasters is thrilled to be a part of the fifth annual TerraVita Food & Drink Festival, one of the foremost food festivals in the Southeast! We’re especially excited about this event because, in addition to offering superb culinary experiences, the festival is known for its commitment to highlighting local and sustainable food and beverages.

Join Carrboro Coffee owner Scott Conary, French Broad Chocolates makers Dan & Jael Rattigan, Videri Chocolate Factory chocolate maker Sam Ratto, and AC Restaurant Group pastry chef Andrew Ullom for a workshop in TerraVita’s Sustainable Classroom on the evolving culture of craft chocolate and coffee. We’ll discuss how makers are elevating the standard by taking a thoughtful approach to sourcing, origin, sustainability, and traditional manufacturing methods, and will dive into quality sourcing (with a little hands-on bean grading) and what it means to have a relationship with the source. Learn about sustainability in the chocolate and coffee industries, and taste delicious samples prepared by a couple of discerning pastry chefs and a master coffee roaster!

Carrboro Coffee will also be featured at the Thursday night Southern Harvest dinner, the official After Party at The Black House at Straw Valley, and the Grand Tasting on The Green.

TerraVita will take place Oct. 9-11 in Chapel Hill. For tickets and more information, visit TerraVitaEvent.com. We look forward to seeing you there!
