The drinks featured in the article are made with a slow brew coffee concentrate from Carrboro Coffee Roasters’ Guatemalan La Providencia coffee. The Snake Charmer features Mezcal, locally made elderberry syrup, orange zest and coffee, chilled and served neat. The Little Bean is a cozy mix of bourbon, vanilla bean-brown sugar syrup and coffee served over ice.

The Pick Me Up is the perfect winter drink — dark rum, honey liquor and coffee extract with a Mexican chocolate rim.
Bowbarr is located at 705 W. Rosemary St. Carrboro, NC and is open Sunday-Wednesday 7pm-2am and Thursday-Saturday 4pm-2am.
